Biblical Foundation and Christian Worldview

At Odenton Christian School, our secondary education program (grades 6-12) is built upon the foundation of God’s Word, using the King James Version of the Bible as the ultimate authority for faith and practice. We believe that all knowledge is rooted in God’s truth and that academic instruction should be shaped by a Biblical worldview. Our goal is to cultivate students who excel academically and develop a Christ-like character that equips them to live as faithful and knowledgeable disciples of Jesus Christ.

Academic Excellence with a Purpose

We are committed to rigorous, college-preparatory education that challenges students intellectually while integrating Biblical truth into every subject. Whether in science, history, mathematics, or literature, students are taught to critically think and problem-solve from a perspective that acknowledges God as the source of all wisdom (Proverbs 2:6). Excellence in academics is encouraged not for personal gain, but for the glory of God (Colossians 3:23).

Spiritual Growth and Discipleship

The spiritual development of our students is at the heart of our secondary education program. We strive to help students develop a personal relationship with Christ through:

Daily Bible instruction that emphasizes doctrine, Christian living, and apologetics.
Weekly chapel services that provide corporate worship and Biblical teaching.
Mentorship from dedicated Christian educators who model Christ-like character and encourage students in their faith.

Developing Godly Character and Leadership

Building on the spirit of joy, enthusiasm, and servant leadership emphasized in our elementary program, our secondary program aims to develop students who will become godly leaders in their families, churches, and communities. We train students to:

Think critically and biblically about current issues and life decisions.
Demonstrate integrity, humility, and responsibility in their interactions.
Lead through service, following Christ’s example (Mark 10:45).
